Celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles at South Harpeth River Retreat — 70 acres of riverside paradise just minutes from Music City.
Nashville, Tennessee is more than just Music City — it is a gateway to some of the most beautiful countryside in the American South. Our Sukkot gathering takes place at South Harpeth River Retreat, a 70-acre riverside property nestled in the rolling hills near historic Franklin and Leipers Fork.
The Nashville area offers the perfect combination of accessibility and seclusion. You get the convenience of a major international airport, world-class restaurants, and big-city amenities — while the retreat itself sits on over a mile of the South Harpeth River, surrounded by forests, open fields, and the kind of quiet beauty that makes dwelling in temporary shelters feel exactly the way YHWH intended.
Late September in Middle Tennessee is arguably the most beautiful time of year. The summer heat has broken, the trees begin turning gold and crimson, and the evenings are cool enough for campfires but warm enough to sleep comfortably under the stars. Average temperatures hover around 70–75°F during the day and 50–55°F at night — ideal weather for building sukkahs, tubing the river, and gathering outdoors for worship and fellowship.
"You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt."
