The Harris Family Sukkot Gathering — celebrating YHWH's appointed time in Tennessee since 2010.
What started as a small family campout in 2010 has grown into one of the most beloved Torah-observant Sukkot gatherings in the Southeast. The Harris Family Feast of Tabernacles began when Mark and his family felt convicted to keep YHWH's appointed times — not in a hotel conference room, but outdoors, the way Scripture describes — dwelling in booths, gathering around fire, and rejoicing before the Creator.
That first year, a handful of families pitched tents together, shared meals over a campfire, studied Torah under the stars, and worshiped with everything they had. Word spread. The next year more families came. Then more. Today, the gathering draws believers from across the country — families, singles, couples, and seekers — all coming together to observe the Feast of Tabernacles the way it was meant to be observed.
For 2026, we are excited to welcome everyone to our new home at South Harpeth River Retreat — 70 acres of riverside beauty near Nashville, Tennessee. It is the largest and most beautiful venue we have ever had, with room for tent camping, RV sites, bunkhouse lodging, a full auditorium, covered pole barn, outdoor sanctuary, and over a mile of river frontage.
"For seven days celebrate the festival to YHWH your Elohim at the place YHWH will choose. For YHWH your Elohim will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete."
— Deuteronomy 16:15
Our Feast of Tabernacles in Tennessee is not a convention, a seminar, or a church event. It is what Sukkot was always meant to be.

We actually dwell in booths. Families build sukkahs, sleep in tents, cook over fire, and live simply for a week — just as Scripture commands.

Every message, every study, every conversation is rooted in the Word. Brother Mark Harris delivers powerful, spirit-filled messages that challenge and encourage.

Children run free, play in the river, learn Torah alongside adults, and form friendships that last all year. This is a family gathering.

No cliques, no politics, no denominations. Just believers gathering around the fire, sharing meals, worshiping together, and building bonds that carry into the rest of the year.

Breakfasts and dinners are catered so everyone can eat together — no one is stuck cooking alone. Fellowship around the table is central to the experience.

We welcome all who want to keep the Feast — regardless of background, church affiliation, or where you are in your walk. Come as you are.
"We drove 14 hours to get here and we would do it again in a heartbeat. My kids talk about the Feast all year long. The river, the campfires, the worship — there is nothing else like it."
— Sukkot Family, Georgia
"This was our first time keeping the Feast and we had no idea what to expect. From the moment we arrived, we felt like family. The teaching was incredible, the worship was powerful, and the fellowship around the campfire every night changed our lives."
— First-Time Feast Keeper
"I have been to other Feast sites before, but the Harris gathering feels different. It is authentic. No one is trying to sell you anything or impress you. It is just real people loving YHWH, keeping His commands, and rejoicing together."
— Returning Feast Keeper
The Feast of Tabernacles in Tennessee runs from September 25 through October 5, 2026. That includes arrival day, Shabbat, seven days of the Feast, the Last Great Day (Shemini Atzeret), and departure. Every single day is filled with purpose — but none of it feels rushed.
Mornings begin with worship and praise. Mid-morning brings powerful messages from Brother Mark Harris and Torah study sessions. Afternoons are free for river activities, games, naps in the sukkah, or conversation around the campsite. Evenings bring everyone together for dinner, special programs, campfire karaoke, testimonies, and time under the stars.
Children have their own programming with crafts, games, Bible stories, and river adventures — but they are never separated from the main gathering. This is a family experience. Kids worship alongside parents, eat together at the same table, and build sukkahs side by side.
By the end of the week, strangers have become family. That is not a marketing tagline — it is what happens every single year, and it is what will happen again.
